My son Mateo was almost 23 months old. He was beautiful! He had the most serious look, and if you were luck enough to see his smile, you would see the most adorable dimple. His hair was curly and wild, much like his personality. He had an entire family, including a six-year-old brother, who adored him.

I know it's hard to think about the things we just won't do; like ride a bike, or catch a ball, or even tie my shoe…

The things you hoped to teach me grow and learn to be a man are the very things that I'll learn with my Father in Heaven…

My life was shortened I understand, for God has called me home to be with Him in glory now, and never be alone…

Heartfelt Thoughts for Families

15 yrs ago I was offered help from empty cradle after losing my son in '95. I feel deeply for families that are going through much of the same things that I faced.

I was 6 mos preg & had a condition known as placenta previa. My dear Nicholas was born on Dec 7th '95. We almost died. He lived 4 days.

First came news of holes in his lungs, then came a hemorrage in his brain, then his tiny kidneys began to…
