Blanket and Item Donations

Hat and blanket donations can be shipped to our Care Package Coordinator, please contact Info@emptycradle.org for current address and dropoff information. The USPS.com (post office) flat rate boxes are a simple way to ship items to us or UPS.com as well, and often discounts are available if you set up a free shipping account.

Blanket and other Donations

We depend on donations of knitted, crochet blankets for memory boxes and care kits. We are so grateful for any item donations and do accept hats but blankets are always the most requested items per our hospital and agency feedback. We truly appreciate your time, energy, love and kindness.

Hats Guidance:

  • Thimble/Miscarriage Size, Micro-Preemie, Preemie or Newborn Size

  • White, Cream, or Pastel Colors. Please no holiday specific colors or themes.

  • Knitted, crochet, sewn or stockinette no-sew hats are welcome

  • Stockinette No-sew hats are a great project for youth groups or service hours! You can get the pattern HERE.

Blanket Guidance- ALWAYS NEEDED and most Requested:

  • Small palm sized blankets for our miscarriage bags

  • Minimum 24” x 24” blankets for our memory boxes

  • Knitted, crochet, sewn blankets are welcome

  • White, Cream, or Pastel Colors. Please no holiday specific colors or themes.

  • Any fabric or fiber is fine EXCEPT fleece. Fleece can stick to delicate baby skin

We welcome donations of items for our Memory Boxes, Sibling Backpacks and Miscarriage Bags, Support Meeting Supplies, Books and Resource Supplies.
